In 1975, the College purchased an adjacent office building at 4190 City Avenue. The building, named Rowland Hall in honor of PCOM's fourth president, Thomas M. Rowland, Jr., is filled with private medical practices and College clinical practices including Family Medicine at PCOM. Graduate Medical Education, the academic offices for the departments of Psychology and Physician Assistant Studies and other College support operations are located in Rowland Hall along with a Barnes & Noble College Bookstore and student services. Classrooms, study areas and computer labs are found throughout the building. Of special note is the fourth-floor Dr. Michael and Wendy Saltzburg Clinical Learning & Assessment Center, integrating the standardized patient program and robotic simulation.
